Dr. Silva experiences encompass career and life coaching, security strategies, deputy prison warden and psychotherapist. He helped students at Ave Maria University, University of Michigan and he currently works in the Students with Disabilities Office at Eastern Michigan University. He has taught psychology at Kalamazoo College and Schoolcraft College. He has provided training for counselors, managers, and hostage negotiators.  He provides performance management to  parents and teachers assisting them to promote changes using cognitive behavioral methodology.
He is the founder of Santa Maria Children's Foundation.
