Dr. Silva's experiences encompass career and life coaching, security strategies as a prison deputy prison warden, and psychotherapist. He helped students at Ave Maria University, University of Michigan and currently at Eastern Michigan University. He has taught psychology at Kalamazoo College and Schoolcraft College; provided training for counselors, managers, and hostage negotiators.  He is the founder of Santa Maria Children's Foundation.
